First Flight! Our Inaugural 2025 Season
Welcome to more disc golf Sudbury! The Nickel City Disc Golf Club is a registered not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting and growing the sport of disc golf in the City of Greater Sudbury. Our mission is to install and maintain courses, organize leagues and tournaments, and foster a welcoming community for players of all skill levels. Through outreach, education, and event coordination, we strive to enhance opportunities for enjoyment of disc golf in our region.
Twin Stacks Preliminary Layout Complete!
We’re excited to share that the preliminary layout for the Twin Stacks Disc Golf Course is now complete! This early design brings us one step closer to delivering a top-tier 18-hole course in Coniston. Designed to challenge all skill levels, the layout features a mix of wooded technical holes and wide open drives across stunning terrain. Stay tuned as we move toward final approvals and construction—big things are coming!

A New Course - A New Era
Potential Disc Golf Layout - Twin Stacks Golf Course
We're excited to announce our first major milestone—the establishment of our inaugural and permanent disc golf course at Twin Stacks Golf Course in Coniston, opening in spring 2025. This professional level, 18 hole course will serve as the foundation for community events, league play, tournaments, and educational programs aimed at fostering a vibrant disc golf community across Northern Ontario. In early April we had a chance to do a final walkthrough with course designers Thomas Hums and Thomas Gilbert to lock the design down and prepare for our inaugural season.
