General Disc Golf Course Etiquette (Twin Stacks)

Whether you're a seasoned disc golfer or a newcomer to the sport, following proper etiquette ensures everyone enjoys their round and respects the course. At Twin Stacks, we share space with a traditional golf course, and maintaining a smooth and respectful atmosphere is key.

Respect the Property

  • No Outside Alcohol: Bringing your own alcohol is strictly prohibited. Violators will be asked to leave immediately with no refund. Food and beverages are available for purchase on-site through Twin Stacks.

  • Respect the Grounds: Avoid damaging turf, trees, or course equipment. Pick up after yourself and leave no trace.

  • Stay Off Golf Greens: Under no circumstances is it allowed to walk across or on golf greens. Retrieving discs that may have landed on a green are to be immediately retrieved with respect and right-of-way to existing ball golfers.

Ball Golfers Have Right of Way

  • Twin Stacks is a shared-use course. Ball golfers always have priority. If you're approaching a shared fairway or green, allow ball golfers to play through and wait for their shot to clear before proceeding.

Maintain a Good Pace

  • Keep up with the group ahead. Ready your throw while others are playing and limit excessive delays between holes.

  • If your group is holding others up, offer to let faster groups play through.

Be Considerate

  • Avoid excessive noise or distractions while others are throwing.

  • Refrain from negative comments, shouting, or any behavior that disrupts other players or nearby patrons.

  • Follow the "leave it better than you found it" rule — help spot discs, return lost property, and respect course signage.
